St. George is one of the more rapidly growing cities in Washington County and is becoming one of the premiere travel destinations in the west. Located in the southwest corner of Utah, St. George sports an elevation of 2,860 feet above sea level. The seasons are very kind to St. George with an average annual temperature of approximately 61° and average annual rainfall of 8.3 inches. St. George is known as a winter haven with its mild winters and hot summers making it a place where "Snowbirds" like to visit to get away from the harsh winters that other parts of the country endure. With over 10 local golf courses St. George, Utah is widely known for its excellent outdoor activities almost all year round like, tennis facilities, outdoor adventure activities, excellent dining, great entertainment and friendly people.
